Amanda Batlle is a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner with a passion for promoting the health and safety of Georgia’s children. Amanda leads injury prevention programming at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as well as serves as the Executive Director for Safe Kids Georgia and Program Coordinator for the Atlanta Chapter of Injury Free Coalition for Kids. Before joining Children’s, Amanda’s career was marked by her commitment to promoting child welfare starting with teaching in a Title I high before transitioning into healthcare as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She has worked in both primary care and developmental pediatrics. She recently completed a dual degree Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Public Health, where her research concentrated on the intersection of injury prevention in nursing and public health. Throughout her career, she has seen first-hand the impacts of social drivers of health and inequities on injury morbidity and mortality. Amanda is deeply committed to ensuring that all children have equitable access to health education, resources and equipment, and high-quality healthcare in an effort to help families raise healthy, safe, resilient children.
