Daniel Student is a managing director at Potrero Group, a strategy and management consulting firm for park partner and conservation nonprofits. He has been a cultural, environmental, and social sector leader for over fifteen years and brings a unique cross-section of creative and business strategy to his work.
Daniel leads nonprofit boards and their staff in retreat facilitation, board training, board evaluation and development, and board search. Recent clients include Aquarium of the Pacific (San Diego), Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy (Atlanta), Jefferson County Greenways Foundation (Birmingham), Olmsted Parks Conservancy (Louisville), Piedmont Park Conservancy (Atlanta), The Trail Conservancy (Austin), and Veggielution Community Farm (San José).
Daniel co-authored the book Don’t Lead Alone: Think Like a System, Act Like a Network, and Lead Like a Movement, published by Fast Company Press.
