Cleveland Justis

Cleveland Justis is an accomplished organizational leader, working at the intersection of conservation and entrepreneurship for the past 20 years. He founded Potrero Group, a strategy and search firm for park partner and conservation nonprofits, in 2011 to harness the power of public-private partnerships to effect systems change and transform and strengthen institutions

He has overseen or led executive searches for many urban parks and their partners, including Forever Balboa Park (San Diego), Jack London Park Partners (Bay Area), Great Rivers Greenway (St. Louis), and Mississippi Park Connection (Minneapolis).

Prior to founding Potrero Group, Cleveland was co-founder and director of the Institute at the Golden Gate and CEO of the Headlands Institute. Cleveland currently serves as the Director of the UC Davis Executive Leadership Program.
