Join a City Parks Alliance Board Member and fellow attendees on an informal, fast-paced activity in Austin.
This is not a guided tour, but rather an opportunity to connect, learn more about City Parks Alliance, and network with other Greater & Greener participants while getting some fresh air before the conference day starts.
Walk along the Congress Avenue Bridge, one of Austin’s most popular viewpoints and famously home to the Mexican free-tailed bats. Watch the sun rise over Lady Bird Lake—an especially beautiful moment and a perfect photo opportunity. We’ll then continue to a beloved Austin institution, Bennu Coffee, a true 24/7 mom-and-pop café. Founded in 2009 in an East Austin neighborhood, Bennu is known for fostering community. Be sure to try their cold brew, which later became the iconic Chameleon Cold Brew, now distributed nationwide.
