Walk & Talk: Rainey Street Art Walk

Tuesday, June 16 2026

6 AM - 7 AM

Meet in Transportation Hub: Moontower, 2nd Floor

Join a City Parks Alliance Board Member and fellow attendees on an informal, fast-paced activity in Austin.

This is not a guided tour, but rather an opportunity to connect, learn more about City Parks Alliance, and network with other Greater & Greener participants while getting some fresh air before the conference day starts.

Walk among the art! Austin is known for its vibrant art scene, and the Rainey Street District brings it to life. We’ll stroll down Rainey Street, exploring an open-air gallery where acclaimed local and international artists have transformed the street with their work. Keep your eyes up, down, and all around—you won’t want to miss a single piece! The walk also includes a stop at one of the art installations along the 5.6-mile Trail of Tejano Legends, which celebrates the cultural history of East Austin’s Hispanic communities.

Please note: This is a rain-or-shine activity, except in the event of severe weather. Walk & Talks are 60 minutes in length and subject to change. Bring your reusable water bottle and wear sunscreen.
