Corey Dodd
Design Workshop
As a Landscape Designer and Engagement Specialist, Corey is motivated by the opportunity to serve as a place-keeper for communities that have been historically burdened by an inequitable distribution of resources and calculated geographic placement. He strives to uphold the power of landscape design to reflect community voices and promote cognitive health and well-being. Corey’s experience includes multiscale analysis and planning, natural resource protection, and working with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate community-led projects highlighting site-specific cultural and ecological heritages.
His experience on projects like the Benjamin Franklin Parkway Master Plan in Philadelphia reflects this approach, guiding a prominent civic corridor toward a more inclusive, people-centered future. Central to this work was recognizing the Parkway as a stage for civic life, including gathering, expression, and demonstration, and translating community voices into design strategies that support public space as a platform for visibility, voice, and collective action.
