Vanessa Ehrenpreis

Vanessa Ehrenpreis is the Merit Review Manager for the National Park Service’s Land and Water Conservation Fund’s competitive grant programs. In this role, she oversees the review and selection process for an estimated $130 million in annual funding for the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership (ORLP) and Readiness and Recreation Initiative (RARI). Prior to joining LWCF, Vanessa worked across the National Park Service in a variety of strategic roles, from assisting regional leadership teams to consulting for parks on sticky management issues like bear viewing and entrance fees. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. After work, you can find her exploring outside with her very loud and sassy coonhound, Miss Frankie.
