Tim Bargainer is a nationally recognized leader in the planning and design of inclusive public spaces that advance health, equity, and long-term community well-being. As Senior Vice President of Public Markets at RVi, Tim oversees strategy and delivery of parks, trails, civic spaces, and mobility systems that serve diverse populations across Texas and beyond.
With over 30 years of experience, Tim brings a systems-level approach to landscape architecture, combining design excellence with community engagement and pragmatic delivery. His portfolio includes award-winning trail-oriented development plans, urban open spaces, and public recreation facilities, with a consistent focus on improving access for underserved and historically excluded communities.
Appointed by the Governor to the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, Tim also serves on boards and in advocacy roles with ASLA, APA, and the Texas Trails Network. He is a passionate advocate for how parks and public spaces can become engines of public health and equity through thoughtful design, collaborative partnerships, and inclusive programming.
