Sue Arndt is Program Director at Park People, where she leads national and city-based program teams delivering initiatives that expand equitable access to urban parks and support progressive park policies across Canada. A member of the organization’s leadership team, she oversees multi-site programs, guides strategic growth, and works closely with funders, government partners, and community organizations to ensure long-term sustainability and impact.
Sue champions community-informed approaches to park programming and policy, ensuring initiatives are responsive to local priorities and grounded in meaningful engagement. With over 20 years of experience in urban ecology and partnership development, she is committed to strengthening the connections between parks, social wellbeing, and biodiversity, and to building the partnerships needed to grow a thriving, community-driven parks movement across Canada.
