Sabina Kasumova is a Performance and Operations Specialist for the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR). Before transitioning to DPR, Sabina served as the Public Engagement Specialist for Park Pride, developing the community engagement strategy for Activate ATL: Recreation & Parks for All, DPR’s 10-Year Comprehensive Master Plan.
Prior to her time at Park Pride, she was the Outreach Coordinator for the non-profit Live Thrive Atlanta at the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials. Sabina started her career with a focus on sustainable materials management and environmental education. She has over 12 years of experience in environmental advocacy and working to advance green initiatives.
Sabina is a bilingual LEED Green Associate and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Education with a minor in Environmental Design from the University at Buffalo.
