Rachel Bennett
MIG
Rachel Bennett is the Director of Health Equity at MIG, a multidisciplinary consulting firm. Her work bridges public health and urban planning to advance community health, partnering with communities, public agencies, and funders to translate policy and planning goals into real-world improvements—particularly in neighborhoods facing the greatest environmental burdens.
Rachel works closely with the City Parks Alliance team to facilitate the Parks & Green Stormwater Infrastructure Initiative and its eight-city cohort of parks and water professionals. Prior to joining MIG, she spent nearly 15 years in the nonprofit sector and led People, Parks, and Power, a $12 million Robert Wood Johnson Foundation–funded national initiative to advance park equity in Black, Latino, and Indigenous communities across the U.S. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends in parks throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
