Norah O’Brian
Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation
With nearly three decades of experience in finance, administration, nonprofit leadership, and governance, Norah O’Brien serves as Vice President of Finance and Administration at the time-limited Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation. Known as a steady financial and people leader, Norah helps guide the systems and strategies that allow the Foundation to manage its resources with accountability and long-term vision, ensuring it can meet its commitments to partners through both opportunity and challenge.
In this role, Norah plays a critical part in the Foundation’s planned spend down of more than $2 billion in assets over 20 years or less, supporting work across 16 counties in Southeast Michigan and Western New York. She also serves on the Audit Committee for the Council of Michigan Foundations. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as Vice President of Finance and Administration at the McGregor Fund, where she supported the board of trustees and oversaw financial, investment, and administrative functions. She holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Accounting from Walsh College.
