Lisa Bransten is Director of Partnerships for the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. She is inspired by the vibrancy and diversity of cities and driven by a desire to make San Francisco a great place to live for all of its residents. Lisa oversees a team that partners with community members, foundations, non-profits and businesses navigate the steps to support parks and programming in San Francisco. In the past 16 years, this work has helped secure nearly $300 million in benefits to public parks and programs. Prior to working for the city, Lisa worked as a staff reporter for publications from the Gilroy Dispatch and the Mexico City Daily News to the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal.
