Lauren Taylor is the Senior Vice President of Programs and Learning at Hyde Family Foundation, a place-based philanthropy advancing strategies that support a thriving, unified Memphis for all. She leads the Foundation’s grantmaking and learning agenda and oversees strategy, program area management, grants management, evaluation and learning, impact investing, and organization-wide budgeting. In this role, she works closely with staff and nonprofit, public, and philanthropic partners to design and advance high-impact investments across Memphis.

Prior to joining Hyde Family Foundation, Lauren worked in development at the Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA). She currently serves on the boards of City Parks Alliance, the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis, and First Horizon Bank’s CRA Corporate Advisory Board, and serves on the steering committee of the Memphis chapter of the Asset Funders Network. Her past board service includes Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School, BLDG Memphis, and the Memphis Area Transit Authority, and she was a founding board member of both the Overton Park Conservancy and the Memphis Farmers Market.

Lauren is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®, a graduate of the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BA from Smith College. She has been recognized as a PLACES Fellow with The Funders Network and as a Memphis Business Journal Top 40 Under 40 honoree. She is a member of Leadership Tennessee Class VII and a graduate of New Memphis’s Leadership Development Intensive and Fellows Programs.

Lauren is happiest outdoors, running or exploring parks and trails with her husband, Justin, and their children, Maggie and Parker.
