Kari Sannino

Kari Sannino, Pennsylvania Program Director, TPL. Kari leads a successful and growing program to create green parks, schoolyards and trails in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania program has built over 25 projects in underserved neighborhoods in Philadelphia, Scranton and Pittsburgh and continues to expand statewide to meet park access needs throughout the commonwealth. TPL’s work is rooted in a deep commitment to the communities we serve, which is realized through strong partnerships and a robust participatory design process. Prior to joining TPL, she designed public landscapes large and small at OLIN Studio. Other professional experience includes landscape maintenance, administration, and community relations across New York City Parks. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University, and a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
