Joy Ennis

Joy Ennis has been an arts and parks administrator for over 23 years with the Town of Cary in Cary, North Carolina. Much of her time with Cary has been spent developing, planning and executing the Town’s largest festivals and events. In 2014, she took on a new role to open and shepherd the growth of Cary’s only art house movie theater, bringing a unique and vibrant offering to Cary’s Downtown core at the start of its Downtown revitalization. In 2020, Joy was tapped to take on the challenge of opening Cary’s iconic Downtown Cary Park, combining years of program planning and facility management experience to bring Cary’s first urban park to life.
