Erika Nikolai

Erika Nikolai believes that cities come alive when neighbours connect in shared spaces. She joined Park People in 2014 as its sixth employee and helped grow it from a Toronto-focused organization into a national movement. As Executive Director, her leadership has been recognized internationally with the Distinguished Individual Award from World Urban Parks. She is dedicated to building healthier, more equitable and more vibrant communities — starting at the park.
