Elizabeth Class-Maldonado
Trust for Public Land
Elizabeth joined Trust for Public Land in August 2020. In her role as PA State Director, she oversees TPL’s statewide programs, including the Parks and Community Schoolyard Programs, land protection, and trail development. Elizabeth directly advances cross-sectoral institutional partnerships to ensure youth and community members have the greenspaces they deserve.
Prior to joining The Trust for Public Land, she worked at an architecture firm in Camden where she focused on affordable housing and community development projects. Elizabeth brings experience working with young people and students, having led the Puerto Rican Art Center at LEAP Academy University Charter School in Camden. She is currently a board member for the Center for DesignPhiladelphia and leads the Design Education Program and Designing Futures Committees. Elizabeth obtained a dual degree in Environmental Design and Art History and a Master of Architecture degree both from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras.
