Elaine Kearney

As Managing Principal of TBG’s San Antonio office, Elaine leads her team in designing landscapes that enhance community health and well-being, with a particular focus on the role of parks and public spaces in healthcare environments. Her work includes guiding transformative projects at the South Texas Medical Center that reimagine hospital campuses as walkable, wellness-oriented destinations.

Drawing on her wide-ranging professional and academic experience from Harvard to Texas to the Pacific Northwest, Elaine brings a sophisticated design perspective that integrates ecology, placemaking, and human-centered design to each of her projects.

During this session, Elaine will share design insights from the STMC Master Plan and discuss how thoughtful landscape architecture can create healing, connected environments that serve patients, providers, and the broader community.
