Corey K. Wilson, J.D., brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in government, law, finance, and community development to his role as Emancipation Park Conservancy (EPC)’s new President & CEO. A Certified Parks & Recreation Professional and former Superintendent of Louisiana’s largest parish park system, he oversaw a $115 million budget, 1,000 employees, and 175+ parks serving 440,000 residents.

Throughout his career, Corey has secured significant public funding, led large-scale capital and conservation initiatives, and earned national recognition, including contributing to a National Gold Medal Award for excellence in parks and recreation. A graduate of Harvard Law School and Morehouse College, he is known for his strategic vision, legal-financial expertise, and collaborative, community-centered leadership style.
