Cody Scott

Cody Scott serves as Facilities Process Manager for the Austin Public Library, where he oversees facilities operations, capital improvement projects, security, maintenance, inventory, and building services across the library system. His work focuses on creating safe, resilient, and sustainable public spaces that support community connection and lifelong learning.

Cody leads major library construction, renovation, and infrastructure initiatives, including branch modernization projects, historic preservation efforts, sustainability improvements, and the development of operational strategies for one of the nation’s most innovative public library systems. He works closely with city departments, community stakeholders, and project teams to align facility investments with long-term community needs and environmental stewardship goals.
