Ashleigh Pettus

Ashleigh Pettus is a Conservation Program Coordinator in the Urban Forest Program within the City of Austin Climate Action and Resilience. She is also an ISA Certified Urban Forest Professional and Arborist with nearly a decade of experience in urban forestry, environmental education, and community engagement.
Throughout her career, Ashleigh has contributed to urban forestry initiatives through both nonprofit and municipal work, focusing on creating healthier, more resilient, and more equitable communities through trees and environmental education. Her expertise includes developing and facilitating urban forest education programs and building collaborative partnerships among environmental organizations throughout Austin. She is known for her ability to connect people, organizations, and resources to strengthen collective impact and expand access to environmental opportunities. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the environmental field, Ashleigh is dedicated to advancing workforce development opportunities for young people interested in careers in arboriculture, conservation, and urban forestry.
