Alexandra Pollock is a landscape designer and planner at Design Workshop, with experience working across a wide range of project types, geographies, and scales. Her approach is grounded in systems thinking, robust site analysis and community engagement—she believes that impactful design must be grounded in its unique social and ecological context.
Alexandra’s work in the City Design studio at University of Illinois – Chicago explored ecological design in the urban context, focusing on adaptation strategies built on overlapping natural and urban systems. She holds a Master of City Design and Urban Planning from University of Illinois – Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Design from McGill University.
