Join a City Parks Alliance Board Member and fellow attendees on an informal, fast-paced activity in Austin.
This is not a guided tour, but rather an opportunity to connect, learn more about City Parks Alliance, and network with other Greater & Greener participants while getting some fresh air before the conference day starts.
Take a morning excursion to Austin’s notable park in the city, Waterloo Park! Waterloo serves as a bustling green space within the city limits. We will take the recently finished “Confluence” route to get there, surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy the Meredith Heritage Tree Deck, bask in the flowers and butterflies in the Hill Country Garden, and gaze over Waller Creek from the Farmer Bridge before heading back to the hotel.
Please note: This is a rain-or-shine activity, except in the event of severe weather. Walk & Talks are 60 minutes in length and subject to change. Bring your reusable water bottle and wear sunscreen.
