The Sustainable SITES Initiative (SITES) is a rating and certification system for land design and development with benchmarks and metrics designed to maximize ecosystem services and community benefits. The City of Austin recently added SITES to their updated Green Building Policy and has been applying SITES across a portfolio of projects. In this Peer Conversation, they’ll dive into the process and share their “SITES as Policy Playbook” along with the toolkit developed to guide others through similar challenges.
