Cities are facing a new reality of less federal funding and changing policy priorities. This comes in a time of rising threats from more extreme weather and increasing social and political fragmentation.
At our Mayors Forum, we will hear from mayors about how they see parks as sources for solutions to these challenges, from using green space to make their cities more resilient, to fostering social cohesion by creating inviting spaces and common ground for community gatherings, to providing access to nature and recreation that support public health, to envisioning new funding models for building and maintaining urban park systems.
Join us for this lively moderated discussion with our mayors. During this program, we will also look at the phenomenal results of Sunday’s Volunteer Service Day and look forward to Greater & Greener 2028 in Atlanta.
