Resilient Waterfronts

Summer Series | Green Infrastructure/Resilience
Resilient Waterfronts

As extreme weather events become more frequent and sea level rise accelerates, coastal and Great Lakes communities, in particular, are under increasing threat from catastrophic flooding.  Cities of all sizes are proactively planning and investing in infrastructure that can prevent and mitigate flooding, leveraging parks and nature-based solutions to enhance community and ecosystem resilience.  In this session, participants will hear from two very different cities Green Bay, Wisconsin and New York City at the forefront of climate resilience planning and implementation.
