Patrick Beyer

Patrick is the Park Improvement Director with the Austin Parks Foundation, where he leads efforts to enhance and expand public spaces across the city. He previously spent thirteen years with the City of Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department as a landscape architect and project manager, designing and delivering park improvements with a focus on accessibility, inclusion, and thoughtful play.

Patrick earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University. He is a licensed landscape architect and a SITES Accredited Professional. As a parent, he also brings a practical appreciation for the importance of comfortable, well-placed seating.
