Eileen Ong is the Director of Programs and Outreach at the Greenway Conservancy, the non-profit responsible for the management and care of The Greenway, a contemporary public park in downtown Boston.
Eileen manages a robust portfolio of ongoing programming and partnerships that serve the community while generating $1 million in annual earned revenue. Expanding and diversifying revenue through new initiatives is a focus of the Programs team; early in her tenure, she expanded the food truck program and introduced Boston’s first beer garden. Eileen also directs the organization’s public engagement and communications strategy and has led initiatives that have elevated The Greenway’s storytelling and accessibility.
Eileen transitioned her career to focus on community building and creating opportunities for connection after managing multi-million dollar projects in the oil and gas industry at ExxonMobil.
