How do we address barriers for our community members experiencing disability? Mark Davison, an experienced Landscape Architect and planner, will share his family’s experience navigating their path to align their passion for nature and play with the pragmatic realities that come with having a family member who experiences disability. He will share his deep experience in advancing play equity through real case studies from his time with Portland Metroparks and the City of Boulder’s Parks and Recreation department. This Peer Conversation will focus on simple steps to foster connections to nature for children with disabilities. Attendees will leave equipped and inspired to advance play equity in their own communities.
