Mandi Golman obtained her degree from UT Austin, and Master’s at CSU in Ecosystems and Sustainability. She is also a LEED® Green Associate™, certified natural playground designer from North Carolina State University and is up to date on all ASTM and CPSC standards, Permaculture Certificate, and obtained a license in irrigation.

She owned and operated a Landscape Design +Build + Maintain Firm for 15 years in the Central Texas region and specialized in sustainable and edible landscape solutions using native and adapted plants.

Throughout her career, Mandi started the New Day Community Garden in East Austin, offers lectures on green space planning, co-founded TRUE Action, a non-profit that helps educate and feed students in Uganda, and organized a Sustainability Symposium for the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Mandi is enjoying her current position at AISD supervising schoolyards for the district and working on land planning solutions.
