Following our webinar in February, join us for an in-depth discussion with your peers on models for building successful volunteer programs and ways to support and nurture volunteers in your park system.

The conversation will kick off with three teams from the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation on how they support volunteer groups, including community gardeners, friends of parks groups, and natural areas stewards. They’ll highlight the role of outreach coordinators, including how they build volunteer capacity and provide trainings and special events.

Then, take the opportunity to share your efforts to nurture and cultivate volunteers and hear from peers about challenges and successful models.
