Mandi Thomas

Mandi has nearly 30 years of experience creating public experiences through public relations, concert production, sponsorship sales, and public space activation. She currently oversees all programming and events along the 10-mile Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail in downtown Austin. At The Trail Conservancy, Mandi works closely with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department to balance third-party, revenue-generating events with free, inclusive programming that reflects the diverse communities. Her passion lies in creating lasting memories through shared experiences, and her work focuses on activating public spaces in ways that foster community, promote equity, and support long-term sustainability.
