Cecily Mendie

Cecily Mendie brings to the BID over 17 years of Parks and Recreation management. Prior to joining the BID, she served as an Area Manager with the D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation, managing over staff and recreation centers in Wards 6, 7, and 8, before assuming the role of Senior Services Manager. Cecily is passionate about creating equitable park access, park sustainability, and increased opportunities for wellness. In her free time, Cecily enjoys traveling, the arts, and playing flag football.
