Sarah Kevorkian
Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority
Sarah Kevorkian is the Deputy Chief of Wildfire Resilience at the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA), a local park agency that manages over 80,000 acres of open space across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. She leads park and trail development projects and oversees the Regional Forest and Fire Capacity (RFFC) Program for the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy. In this role, Sarah collaborates with public agencies, tribes, and community-based partners to build enduring wildfire resilience throughout the region. She plays a critical role in identifying regional wildfire priorities, increasing local capacity, and securing funding for high-impact projects that protect communities, ecosystems, and infrastructure. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
