Tarana Hafiz

Tarana is an Associate and Project Manager at Design Workshop’s Houston studio, with nearly 15 years of experience in planning and urban design. Her work focuses on advancing equity through park master plans, community development, public space design, cultural planning, and historic preservation. Tarana brings a deep commitment to creating inclusive public realms that reflect the needs and aspirations of the communities they serve. She believes in the power of parks as platforms for civic life, wellness, and cultural expression, and integrates meaningful community engagement into every project.
