Tara Green

Tara helps project teams and client stakeholders develop effective strategies for open space programming, governance and staffing, and budgeting. Her ability to build support for activation and self-sustaining operations has been pivotal to the success of major urban parks, sports venues, and mixed-use developments across the US.

Tara began her career in the sports and entertainment industry, spending more than 25 years in senior leadership roles with prominent sports organizations and venues. As the former President of Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, she helped establish the park as Dallas’ premier hub for civic life. She led operational, activation and revenue planning for the non-profit, which receives no municipal funding. She oversaw staff and operations, including 1,300 free activities annually. The park has garnered more than 40 significant awards since opening, including the ULI Urban Open Space award.
