Lisa is a registered architect and Senior Capital Projects Manager at Houston Parks Board, where she leads transformative projects that expand access to parks and trails for all Houstonians. With 20+ years of experience in international building and campus design – from London to Shanghai – she excels at envisioning complex, large-scale initiatives.
Lisa champions inclusive, sustainable design and has led award-winning efforts like Houston Parks Board’s Design Guidelines for Greenways and Pedestrian and Bicycle Trails, which earned Gold Best Practices Awards from APA Houston and APA Texas. Her latest project, the Disability-Inclusive Parks, Trails, and Playgrounds Best Practices Guide, aims to set a new standard for accessibility in public spaces.
A native Houstonian and former Board Chair of the Bayou Land Conservancy, Lisa is passionate about exploring the city’s wild places – from hidden bayous to urban prairies – and bringing nature closer to home.
