Brandon Biederman

Associate Principal
PORT

Brandon Biederman is an Associate Principal at PORT, where he leads the design and implementation of complex public realm projects across a range of contexts. His work spans large regional frameworks and master plans with large interdisciplinary teams to the transformation of underutilized spaces in downtowns and neighborhoods in close collaboration with communities.

Brandon is adept at managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with architects, engineers, and public agencies, often navigating regulatory complexity, infrastructural constraints, and limited public-sector resources. He works closely with clients to align funding opportunities with design and implementation strategies—an approach that has shaped impactful, community-responsive projects like Chicago’s Lakeview Low-Line, the Frankford Avenue Connector in Philadelphia, and Knoxville’s Urban Framework and Connectivity Plan.
