The Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership (ORLP), managed by the National Park Service and funded through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), provides matching grants to cities for park and recreation projects nationwide. Since 2014, this nationally competitive program has provided federal dollars to local communities, helping cities transform vacant lots, degraded spaces, and underutilized land into vibrant community parks that strengthen local economies, improve public safety, and enhance community pride and belonging.
