Frank Accosta

With nearly two decades of event management experience, Frank has served as the Greater &
Greener Conference Coordinator for City Parks Alliance since the 2012 New York conference. If
you’ve ever attended Greater & Greener, you likely know Frank’s energy and commitment to
creating meaningful, seamless experiences.

Frank is also the founder and president of Poplar Events, a boutique event planning and
management company specializing in galas, corporate events, and destination meetings. During
the pandemic, he successfully produced virtual programs, including the Alliance’s 2021 Summer
Series. Before launching his own company, Frank was Vice President at Lorelei Events Group in
New York.

Earlier in his career, Frank created programming and special events for the Breckenridge Film
Festival, where he also served on the Board of Directors. He began his professional journey in
publishing at New York University, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in
journalism.
