Organizational memberships:
No. Memberships cannot be transferred or refunded. Individual memberships are intended for one individual, not an organization.
You may not create a universal login (e.g., [email protected]) to share among team members.
If you have multiple members who need access to a City Parks Alliance membership, you must purchase an organizational membership, which allows you to create individual accounts for each team member who requires access for your organization.
The member must be a full-time student. Student memberships are limited to a maximum of four years.
Student memberships may not be transferred or refunded, are intended for only one person, and cannot be transferred to another person. Student memberships are not listed on the City Parks Alliance website.
In addition to the membership benefits available to all organizational members, Grantmaking Members gain access to the Funders Learning Network. The Network offers peer-to-peer events curated exclusively for grantmakers investing in parks and green infrastructure.
A City Parks Alliance membership is valid for 1 year (365 days) from the date of payment.
(Note: Organizations that had memberships prior to the launch of the Alliance’s new member system in January 2026 have slightly different membership renewal periods. Those memberships expire at the end of the month of purchase. When these memberships are renewed, the new memberships will be valid for 1 year (365 days) from the date of payment.)
A Membership Owner has the ability to manage your organization’s membership (e.g. purchasing renewals, adding staff to your organization’s membership, etc.). Each organization has only one membership manager.
A Member is a person who has been added to the organization’s membership by the Membership Owner. Members have full access to City Parks Alliance membership benefits, but cannot renew the organization’s membership or add others to the account.
