Join us for an evening of community, culture, and connection through baseball at Parque Zaragoza! We’ll kick things off with a casual pick-up game open to skill levels—just bring yourself, water and your love for the game. Afterward, stay for an entertaining match featuring local baseball teams who bring community and personality to Austin’s parks.

These teams are made up of a diverse group of individuals that foster community, promote physical and mental well-being, and keep the spirit of the game alive. Baseball has long been a vital part of life at Parque Zaragoza. As early as 1931, a Mexican baseball league played its games here, drawing crowds larger than any other park in the city, according to the Austin Parks Department. That legacy continues today, as local teams and spectators come together on these fields to celebrate the beautiful park’s history.

Whether you’re playing, cheering, or just enjoying the atmosphere, this event is about honoring the park’s past while building community in the present. Come out for the fun, stay for the history, and leave feeling connected.

Note: No prior baseball experience is needed, beginners welcome.
