Virtual Skill-Building Workshops
- City Parks Alliance offers virtual skill-building workshops designed to inspire and reinforce cross-sector park partnerships and build the skills necessary to support the equitable development, sustainability, and use of parks and recreation assets.
- Workshops are open to anyone across the country and internationally, and we offer discounts for City Parks Alliance members and teams of 2-4 (which may include internal or external partners).
- Workshops are three hours in length and feature an educational element, guest speakers, and facilitated breakout discussions that promote peer learning and help participants strategize about steps they can take to implement workshop learnings in their communities.

Upcoming & Recent Workshops

City Workshops
Prior to 2020, City Parks Alliance held in-person workshops that focused on strengthening citywide park partnerships in a host city; addressed specific issues related to a single park or smaller set of partners; or addressed a specific parks-related challenge or issue (such as strengthening community engagement efforts). If you are interested in contracting with City Parks Alliance to hold one in your city, or in funding such programming, contact Diana Colangelo.
